We are now looking for an Sustainability Controller for Sweco Group to join our HQ Stockholm office.
About you
You have three to six years of relevant experience within accounting, controlling or auditing. Experience from ESG reporting is an advantage. An MSc degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
You have experience from financial analysis and reporting. To be successful in this role you should enjoy data processing, reporting and have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Further, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are comfortable in working independently as well as part of a team. Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is required.
The role
As a Sustainability Controller you will work in the intersection between sustainability, finance, and operations. You will be a key contributor to ensure accountable and transparent reporting procedures and tools to ensure that Sweco achieves its objectives related to sustainability. You will work in an international environment collaborating with colleagues across the Sweco organization.
You will:
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external ESG reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams to collect, structure, analyze and validate the global ESG data
- Support the development and implementation of processes and tools for ESG data reporting to comply with new regulatory reporting requirements including the CSRD
- Assist in monitoring the progress of Sweco’s climate transition plan across countries
- Design and implement ESG data controls across the organization
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors
- Ensure that the collection and reporting is in alignment with EU-taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD, GHG Protocol and other relevant standards, regulations and legislations
- Monitor changes in ESG reporting standards and implement necessary updates
- Support the communication of ESG performance to stakeholders, including investors and regulators
You will report to the Head of Group Business Control & Sustainability Reporting based in Stockholm.
