We are now looking for a Compliance Monitoring Officer to the Group Compliance function.

The job - What You Will Do

The role is based at Hoist Finance's headquarters in Stockholm Sweden, where you will work closely with the entire Compliance team across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with colleagues who are genuinely passionate about what they do. The Compliance function covers areas such as anti-money laundering, data protection, consumer protection, internal governance & control and ethical matters.

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and managing the Compliance Monitoring Program as well as conducting reviews across all areas within the Compliance function’s remit. The role also includes providing support and quality control for our colleagues in the Compliance function as they conduct their reviews.

Fluency in English is essential, and the role involves some limited travel for market visits as required. You will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer.

Competences – Who Are You?

We believe you have a background in internal audit or compliance with substantial experience of independently conducting reviews/audits in a regulated Swedish company. You are keen on sharing your competence and knowledge with the team and excited to suggest and implement improvements to the current Compliance Monitoring Framework.

You enjoy working in a team but are also comfortable having your own areas of responsibility where you are the primary point of contact. You are an efficient communicator and able to engage various stakeholders within the company. You must be able to work with a risk-based approach and follow a methodology to assess risk. You are a person that likes to get things done, detailed-oriented with a keen eye for time and task management. For you, compliance is not just about regulations; it's about empowering the business to operate effectively within a compliant framework.

You are not intimidated by the idea of digitalization or automation; rather, you are motivated to explore technological solutions to increase efficiency within the Compliance function.
